I still have the blisters on my feet
That I got by this long way
They're reminders of it's beautiness
And of the stones I stumbled over

When the rain is over

On foot steps we left
On stones we kicked by side

The soles now are run through
Soles of shoes I can't replace

I sweat on my hands
But since you unhanded
The cold wind
Freezes the sweat

Puddles formed by the rain
Dry by the sun
Blisters mend
Without these shoes I must abandon this way

The sun has risen
And it came to a sandstill
Unexpected it fell down
